The High-Level Radioactive Waste Advisory Council represents a wide range of state agencies and subject matter experts who advise the Industrial Commission on issues of high-level radioactive waste.
The council shall hold at least one meeting per year and any other meetings deemed necessary by the chairman or a majority of the council.

The hearings provide an opportunity for members of the public to contribute to the PSC’s official record. Any comments from members of the public must be received at a hearing to be part of the record. People with concerns, questions or support/opposition for the project are encouraged to attend a hearing and present their information.
