The North Dakota State Geologist and the North Dakota State Engineer were instructed by the 52nd State Legislative Assembly to conduct site-suitability reviews of the solid waste landfills in the state of North Dakota. The purpose of this program was to evaluate the site suitability of each landfill for the disposal of solid waste based on geologic and hydrologic characteristics.
The following landfill investigations by Phillip L. Greer (NDGS) and Jeffrey Olson (SWC) were published jointly with the State Water Commission as Site Suitability Reviews.
