Incident Reported in McKenzie County
BISMARCK, ND – Devon Energy Williston LLC notified the North Dakota Oil and Gas Division of a crude oil spill at the Sturgeon East Pad site. The incident occurred on February 7, approximately 3 miles northeast of Arnegard, ND.
Devon Energy Williston LLC reported that 400 barrels of crude oil were released onto location. As of February 9, 2026, 320 barrels have been recovered.
A North Dakota Oil and Gas inspector has been to the location and will monitor any additional cleanup required.
