Incident Reported in Mountrail County
BISMARCK, ND – Falcon Midstream Services LLC notified the North Dakota Oil and Gas Division of a produced water spill at the Erie SWD 5793 11-12 site. The incident occurred on August 13, 2026, approximately 10.5 miles northwest of Ross, North Dakota in Mountrail County.
Falcon Midstream Services LLC reported that 1100 barrels of produced water was released onto location. As of August 13, 2026, 1062 barrels of produced water had been recovered.
A North Dakota Oil and Gas inspector has been to the location and will monitor any additional cleanup required.
