Incident Reported in McKenzie County

 

BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Dakota Oil and Gas Division was notified of an equipment failure occurring, Tuesday, January 16 at McKenzie County, North Dakota. 

Chord Energy reported on Tuesday that 775 bbl of crude oil were released on location. At the time of reporting all fluids were recovered. 

A North Dakota Oil and Gas inspector has been to the location and will monitor the clean-up and remediation.
