X Marks the Spot: #7

X Mark s the Spot #7 concerns yet another linear feature common throughout the glaciated parts of North Dakota . The example shown on the map is the most prominent of its kind in the state, and also ranks among the best in North America . The X marks a small area of this 4-mile long, sinuous landform, which is approximately 400 feet wide with an essentially level crest that varies in height from about 50 to 80 feet. When you have identified the feature marked by the X, submit your name, mailing address, phone number or e-mail address, and responses to the following questions:
